Jamis Buck Thursday May 29th 2003 - 14:29:31 Plucker Pocket PC viewer available for testing Version 0.1 of Vade Mecum, a new Plucker viewer for the Pocket PC, is now available for testing. (Currently, only ARM-based processors are supported). It features most of the goodies you are used to from the Palm version of the Plucker viewer, plus: * Text selection (and copy-to-clipboard) * Highlighting * Annotations * customizable library and metadata directories * customizable fonts and font sizes, margins, first-line indentation, interparagraph spacing, etc. Because this is the first release of the software, there are still unimplemented features, the some of the most notable of those being: * history * autoscroll (partially implemented, but not very stable yet) * searching * categories * library management Vade Mecum is, of course, not considered stable software yet... but the author uses it every day to read Plucker documents, and hasn't had any problems for the last couple of weeks. If you would like to help test it, please go to: http://www.jamisbuck.org/vade-mecum.html Be sure to read the ReadMe.txt file before installing or submitting bug reports.
