David A. Desrosiers Tuesday May 27th 2003 - 06:23:50 Plucker 1.4 Beta 1 is now available for testing Please remember, this is a beta, not an official release. That being said, it is very stable, and much more feature-rich than the previous release of Plucker, so please download and test it thoroughly. Since Plucker 1.2 was released, many hundreds of people have helped make Plucker better and better. Many commercial companies use Plucker in their businesses, and thousands of happy users are using Plucker every day. Plucker 1.4 beta 1 includes a healthy set of changes from 1.2, many more features and enhancements. This beta release does not include Plucker Desktop or any other GUI-based Plucker tools, other than the standard viewer, distiller, and documentation. If you require other components to test this build, please get them from CVS directly. POSIX binary-only version (zip, 254,305 bytes) RPM Package (rpm, 1,942,349 bytes) Plucker Documentation (bz2, 331,247 bytes) Plucker Python Distiller only (bz2, 102,928 bytes) Plucker viewer only (bz2, 638,753 bytes) Hi-Res Viewer version (bz2, 494,071 bytes) As always, the source code itself is available in CVS, under the proper tag, if you should want to contribute to the development of Plucker itself.
